Howick Historical Village Trip

On Thursday we went on a trip to Howick Historical Village. First of all we were playing old games from the 1850s. I liked the long log walkers the most. It was fun and it taught us how to work as a team. We had to lift our feet up at the same time and say, "Right, left, right, left." It was really fun. Next up we did decoding. We used, braille, morse code and semaphore. I enjoyed working our names in all those different ways of communicating. Last but not least, we had the school house. The teacher there was very strict and she pretended to smack us with a stick! When we practiced writing she said we could only write with our right hand! I really enjoyed the trip because after we got to look at all the different old houses and shops. Have you ever been to the Howick Historical Village? Thank you for reading my blog post.
