My Favourite Piece of Writing this Week

This is my favourite piece of writing so far this week. It was hard using Adventure Genre because you had to have a lot of action but not to much. Here is my writing below!

(Ice Age) I was staying in a little hut on the top of a snowy mountain when I stumbled across a heap of dirty bones from a colossal mammoth. Suddenly a mammoth as big as a kraken nearly trod on top of me. “Aaaaah!” I screamed as loud as I could. Suddenly I fainted. I woke up the next day and looked outside and thankfully the mammoth had gone. I went to roll on the soft snow when a snow owl came and picked me up. “AAAAAAAAH!” I yelled as it flew me away as fast as lightning. It fed me to it’s hungry children who are demolishing me as I’m writing this. "Noooooooo!"

We were working on adventure this week. Tell me what you think I could improve on in my Adventure Genre?  Blog you later!

Similies or Metaphor Writing

In class we have been working on similies/metaphors. In writing we had to use ethier a similie or a metaphor. This is my favourite piece of writing this week.

The boy was wondering slowly and carefully when he nearly fell off a tall, creepy bridge. It was as scary as a lion jumping at you.
