Hang On!

I was waiting for my train in the humongous train station in London and I saw this kid with his dad. He was just walking around and it all happened so quickly! One minute he was standing on the platform, the next he was hurtling through the air, hanging on for dear life… His dad was thinking what should I do?!
The kid blasted off with the train through the hollow tunnel. He let go of the train and thought he was going to crash his head into the thick wall! But instead he goes through the wall like some sort of portal to a magical land.
What just happened and where was he? Just then an elf greeted him to the magical land. “ Welcome to our magical land, how did you manage to get here?” “I have no idea! One minute I was hanging on the train as tight as i could and then I let go and I just went through the wall!” ‘Oh dear, I guess you’ll have to live with us until we find a way to get you back.”

So that’s what the kind elves did. They gave him a nice cozy bed and took good care of him. The next day the elves searched the whole village to look for a way to get the boy home to his dad. After the day of searching the boy was disappointed that they hadn’t found a way to get home yet. “Don’t worry, we’ll find a way to get you home soon” said the elf. “I hope so too,” said the boy.
The next day they find a portal. Be careful this could be the wrong one. “Elves! Who’s going to test it!” “I will!” says an elf. The elf hops along through the portal and calls the other elve and the boy. “It’s safe, I’m sure of it.” “The coast is clear! Let’s get this kid home!” All the elves and the boy hop through the portal and are extremely happy. “Dad!” The kid calls. “ I thought I’d never see you again son.” In the end the boy found his dad and everyone lived happily ever after.

  1. Awesome story, William. I like how during the story the boy still wants to get home even though he has a nice cosy bed and the elves take care of him. It reminded me of the story "The Wizard of Oz" What name would give your magical land?
