Puncuation Check

The Legend of Sina and the Eel - Voice Recording 🗣️

Sina and the Eel - Drawing

In class we have been learning about Sina and the Eel. I found it difficult to do some of the drawings and a little bit of the writing. My favourite part was probably trying to draw Samoa. Have you ever done Piskel before and did you enjoy it? Blog you later!

Duffy Assembly

Today we went to the Duffy Assembly and there were three actors. It was funny when the Coggen was chasing Duffy and his friend. One bit we had to make a poster to find the Coggen and the actor chose different people to say something and he wrote it down. Colour of the Ocean

Wilbur and I did a story together about an odd looking fish.  What is your favourite paragraph of my story and tell me if you have a fish/pet? Blog you later!

One day Wilbur and I went diving in the deep blue ocean. We came across a shark chasing a slow funny-looking fish.

Wilbur distracted the fish as I swam towards the fish, and grabbed the fish. We named him Blobby aka Mr Big Lips. Then we swam up to land and went to our house.

We bought a fish tank for him to stay at. He was a very nice fish but he was always VERY HUNGRY. A few years later… 

We are on the Newspaper because we discovered a new species of fish. Blobby gets knighted by Mrs. Elizabubbles and becomes Sir Blobby. THE END

William and Ethan in Space

On Saturday night Ethan and I went onto a trip to space. We even saw a spaceship in the distance here is a picture another astronaut took. Just joking, we found out how easy it is to trick people and we created our own picture for fun. Comment if you think it looks real. Blog you later!

Eels in Stories

This week we did reading about eels in lots of different stories and wrote about it in the slideshow that you can see. We looked for stuff like, verbs and adverbs that described the eel, vivid adjectives that create a pictire in your mind, emotive language and figurative language like similies and metaphors. Whale Shark Writing

This week we did some witing. Here is mine, I tried to use lots of descriptive writing and make it interesting. What did you like about my story? Blog you later!

I am diving with Mathematical Wilb when we see a whale slowly swimming towards us. We are frightened so we quickly swim away from him. He chases after us so we try and swim as fast as a black marlin but the colossal whale catches up to us and swallows us whole.

We both fainted but after a few hours I woke up. I say to Mathematical Wilb “Wake up!” Mathematical Wilb wakes up and screams in my face. “Where are we!” he asks. “I think we’re in the mouth of the whale,” I say. “How are we going to survive? We only have a couple more hours left in our oxygen tanks.” Says Mathematical Wilb. “We’re going to have to find a way out.” I said. First we try and push the mouth open but the whale is too strong. But luckily we find an object that can push the whale apart. We heave and strain and push the whales lips open. We escape with only 10 seconds left in our tank but Mathematical Wilb has 9. We swim out as fast as we can and I make it out with 1 second left but sadly Mathematical Wilb dies.

The next day I look at the TV and every channel has our story on it. The next day The Queen calls me from England and tells me to come over next week to be knighted. I was sad about my best friend Mathematical Wilb but happy I had been knighted. I went on to have a happy life but I was always sad about my friend. THE END

Moment in Time Writing

In the Beginning

This week in class we have been doing slides on the Maori Story, In the Beginning. We used Online Voice Recorder again, here is the link. Calendar Art

Over the last few weeks we have been working on our Calendar Art inspired by Hundertwasser. Hundertwasser was a man who was born in Austria, he did a lot of art and also painted buildings. In class today we made a slideshow of our School Pepeha for Maori Language week. We used https://online-voice-recorder.com to tell the viewers how to pronoune it. What Food I Would Make Gigantic
